When we walked out of the train station to hail a taxi in Cordoba, the first thing I noticed was this huge sign: “Mosque: Left, McDonalds: Right.” Ah. Two powerful places.

Yesterday I sat at Woodbridge’s Champagne French Bakery to start my AP Spanish homework and eat pastries.
